Being an 80’s music fanatic, I’ve been wanting to do a blog segment called It’s Friday, I’m in Love for the longest time!
Since today is Friday, I figured, why not give it a go!
So, from now on, every Friday, except when I forget, I’ll be posting about my favorite Avon products. Today, I’m going to share my two favorite fragrances from Avon.
Before I share my favorite Avon scents, I guess I should share a little about my scent taste. I do not like anything too flowery or over-powering. I also don’t like fragrances that make me keep sniffing. Either you know what I’m talking about, or it doesn’t apply to you at all but when I have to keep sniffing my own perfume, I start to get a headache from it. The Friday fragrances that I love are not like that. They’re light and fresh.
And so without any further ado, here’s my two favorite Avon eau de parfums.
LYRD Artisan Cherry Vetiver Eau de Parfum
Avon’s LYRD Artisan Cherry Vetiver Eau de Parfum is my all-time favorite Avon fragrance. It’s perfect for everyday and it can also be worn for special occasions. It has a light cherry scent that isn’t overpowering.
I think it makes a terrific autumn/fall scent and for me it’s my signature fragrance.
It’s a bit pricey when it’s not on sale. CHECK PRICE
Here’s what Avon has to say about it:
A world of authentic fragrances expertly crafted by master perfumers. Captivating gender-neutral scents with unexpected combinations of the finest ingredients that are exquisite alone, but even more fascinating together.
Sweet cherry blends with smooth Haitian vetiver for a warm and enticing scent. 1.7 fl. oz.
Warm & Indulgent – Warm scents with decadent, sensual and smooth notes.
Spray on pulse points.
LYRD Rose du Soleil Eau de Parfum
My second favorite is also from the LYRD family of scents at Avon. Avon’s LYRD Rose du Soleil Eau de Parfum is the rose-scented fragrance for people who really don’t like rose perfumes. I know that sounds funny but it’s true. And if you don’t believe me you can go straight to Avon and read the comments there. It has received a 3 out of 5 stars because… wait for it… it doesn’t have a heavy rose scent.
I don’t care for heavy rose perfumes and was pleasantly surprised when I got my first whiff of this one. In addition to rose, it has a touch of patchouli and a hint of raspberry giving it a lovely fresh fragrance. I use it in my daily rotation of scents. I think this one is perfect for all year wear but I’ve been using it more heavily this past summer.
Here’s What Avon has to say about it:
Capture the warmth of the sun with radiant notes of sun-ripened raspberry, enchanting rose and spicy patchouli. 1.7 fl. oz.
Sun-ripened raspberry, enchanting rose and spicy patchouli.
Fresh & Vibrant – Fruity floral scents with exciting, lush and liberating notes.
Spray on pulse points.
Well, those are my two favorite Avon fragrances. What are yours? Tell me in the comments!
