A Detailed Review to Help You Discover One of the Secrets of Japanese Beauty
Mission Luxereve is a new luxury skin care product from Avon. It’s made in Japan and I think we all know that Japanese women are famous for their gorgeous flawless skin.
Mission Luxereve isn’t like any other Avon product you’ve ever seen or tried before. It is extremely high end and not for the timid shopper but I was able to get my hands on a couple of samples to try. I’ve been testing the serum and the cream for a week now and I’m excited to share my experience here with you.
I’m reviewing both the Mission Luxereve serum and face cream products together because that’s how I’ve used them so I have no way to tell you how each one works separately or how each might work alongside other brands.
About the Product – Mission Luxereve
First off, let me tell you a little bit about Avon’s Mission Luxereve brand.
Mission Luxereve products are created using a special fermentation process that breaks down the molecules into smaller sizes, so skin can more easily absorb the beneficial ingredients. It’s made in Japan using the following;
• Cytoferm – Combines 86 medicinal plants, harvested over four seasons for peak potency and fermented for another year to achieve maximum efficacy and help promote the look of smooth, radiant skin.
• Wineferm – Wine extract from naturally fermented grapes, which have a higher content of polyphenols than natural grapes and are rich in antioxidants to keep skin looking healthy.
Mission Luxereve Serum
Mission Luxereve Serum has regenerating qualities formulated to help boost skin elasticity and firmness to give you smooth, youthful-looking skin. It’s made with the fermentation technologies explained above which are derived from natural ingredients. This facial serum will help you reveal the remarkably youthful look you’ve always dreamed of. 1.01 fl. oz.
• Helps boost skin elasticity and firmness for the smoothest, most youthful-looking skin ever.
• Fragrance blended with black currant and rose.
Mission Luxereve Face Cream
Mission Luxereve face cream offers unparalleled luxury for your skin. Enriched with extravagant oils and other moisturizing formulas, this indulgent cream will help your skin look smoother, firmer, healthy, and radiant giving you a more youthful and sculpted appearance. It’s also made with the special fermentation technology, explained above and is derived from natural ingredients leaving you with a remarkably youthful appearance. 1.76 oz. net wt.

My Mission Luxereve Serum and Cream Review
I’m sixty years old and after using both the Mission Luxereve serum and cream for a week, I’m excited to tell you that I do see a remarkable difference. I’m not claiming to look ten years younger or anything like that but I do notice that the fine lines on my face have softened and I notice a healthier glow to my skin.
I was extremely impressed because, to offset the cost of my trial for this review, I’ve been using a tiny amount of the products, morning and night, and even while using this skimpy amount, I noticed a definite change in my skin very quickly.
The cream is very lightweight and I have to admit to being delighted that it is made with wine extracts. I’m already a firm believer of the health benefits of drinking small amounts of red wine. Adding those benefits to my facial skin care just makes me happy.
I should add that even at my age, 60, I am prone to acne attacks after using certain products and I’m thrilled to tell you that I’ve had no skin disturbances throughout my trial of Avon’s Mission Luxereve serum and cream.
What Does Mission Luxereve Smell Like?
There isn’t much to talk about as far as the scent goes. It has a light, somewhat rosy, fragrance that isn’t overpowering. I noticed the scent disappears fairly quickly which is good because I don’t think I’d like to smell my face cream all day, or even worse, all night.
How Do You Use Mission Luxereve Luxury Serum and Cream by Avon?
I used the Mission Luxereve twice a day, morning and night after washing my face. The serum goes on first. I left it on alone for a few minutes to give it a chance to sink in and begin doing its thing. I then followed up with the cream. As I said before, I used a very small amount, just enough to cover my face including under my chin area. A little bit of the product did go a very long way. In fact, I didn’t think that I had a week’s worth of product but I easily made it through to the end of the seven days without running out.
How Does Mission Luxereve Feel On Your Skin?
After applying both Avon’s Mission Luxereve serum and cream to my face, it does feel a bit moist and tacky on my skin for a while. (Others who have reviewed this product don’t have this complaint I suppose it may depend on your skin type.) I was a little disappointed by that… at first. The feeling does go away and after noticing the difference in my skin, I feel fine about the tackiness now. It’s definitely worth it for the skin improvement I noticed.
To be honest, if you’re using Avon x The Face Shop cushion foundation and blush, like I do, it all blended together very nicely in the end. I’m not sure how it would work with a powder foundation because I didn’t try it like that.
More Reviews Of Mission Luxereve
The Mission Luxereve Avon products are fairly new but there are already several reviews that have been left online at Avon. At the time of this post, the serum has a 4.8 stars out of 5 rating. Comments left said things like; “It was insane how soon I started to see a change in my skin!”, “I have used both the Mission Luxereve products for over a month, and I am getting compliments on my skin!” and “I love this serum. It’s amazing!”
The cream has a 4.7 stars rating. Comments left there said things like; “There are not enough words to describe the magic this jar of cream has given me.”, and “I was really skeptical before trying the Mission Luxerve products, and now I am a believer!”
Is Mission Luxereve Worth the Cost?
Only you can decide how much you can afford to spend on your skin care products. Mission Luxereve’s claim to be unparalleled luxury for your skin held true for me. That’s not to say you will fall in love with it the way I did.
Now that I know a little goes a long way, I will definitely be buying and using Mission Luxereve (albeit sparingly) into the future.
It is pricey but for me but I think it’s definitely worth the extra cost. The fact that I can purchase it at a discounted price being an Avon independent sales representative doesn’t hurt either. (You can get the discounted price of 25% off after the first $40.00 too if you join my Avon team, even if you’re only planning to shop for yourself. Sign up is free for a limited time. JOIN AVON HERE.) To be quite honest, the reason I decided to join Avon is that Avon has taken a huge leap forward from the products we know from the past. Many of those tried and true products are still available but there are brand new full lines of other skin care, makeup, self care, and household items that will blow you away with their quality. Mission Luxereve is just one of those product lines that I’ve fallen in love with.
Mission Luxereve Essence
The newest addition to the Mission Luxereve collection is Mission Luxereve Essence.
Mission Luxereve Essence goes on first, after washing, but before the Mission Luxereve Serum and Cream. As an introductory to this luxurious new product, Avon is offering it in a set alongside a trial size of the serum and cream.
Here’s the information from the Avon site about the newest addition to the Mission Luxereve family, Essence:

How Much Does Mission Luxereve Cost?
At the time of this post, both the Mission Luxereve Serum and Cream are on sale for a significant discount. And to be honest, it would be impossible for me to keep up with the current prices here at the blog. Please visit Avon to check the prices.
Layering your skin care formulas and allowing your skin to absorb each one is integral to the Japanese skin care regimen. The Mission Luxereve routine takes time, but will ultimately help your skin look more youthful and radiant. I hope you found my review of these luxury skin care products helpful. If you’ve tried either both or even just one of the Mission Luxereve products from Avon please share your own review here in the comments. I’d love to hear your opinion!
