I don’t claim to be a makeup artist or expert on popular trends but you’d have to be blind not to see that white eyeliner is a popular trend for 2020. Funny thing is that it’s not a new trend to the makeup world.
I’m an Avon independent sales rep who’s not quite old enough to have worn it then but back in the sixties it was quite popular to wear white eyeliner paired with drawn on lashes that created a look that resembled a dolls eyes. Think about Twiggy’s retro look from when she was at the peak of her modeling career to see what I mean.
How to wear White Eye Liner
The white liner can be used under your eyes as shown on the Avon model above. She is wearing Avon True Glimmersticks eye liner in the shade White Awake. Or you can use it on your lids to make a double color line where you’d apply a black liner first and then add a white liner above it. Or you might even try it in a more exaggerated style on the tops or your eyelids as demonstrated by Lady Gaga for her makeup line, Haus.

White eye liner looks great with a pop of blue eye shadow which is another popular trend for 2020.
If you’re looking to try this chic and stylish makeup trend, you’ll probably want to know that Avon’s white eye liner normally costs exactly one half of the white eye liner from Haus.
Although the formulas are different, and you can use your own detective work to see why, at the time of this posting, Avon’s eye liners are on sale for less than half their usual price making them cost less than a quarter of the ones at Amazon. Sounds like a good deal to me. Don’t get me wrong. I’m sure the Haus eye liner is good too. I honestly haven’t tried it. I have tried the Glimmersticks eye liner and I LOVE it. But seriously, if you’re just looking to try out a new look… You might not want to invest so heavily. Just sayin’.
